A well deserved vacation

On Wednesday Scott, Scotti, Zuriah and I headed out of town for UEA weekend. We went up to Wolf Creek in Ogdden Canyon and met up with scott's parents there. It was a beautiful weekend and I didn't want to come home at all. We stayed at Wolf Creek by Wyhndam. The area is so so beautiful and refreshing.

Since we got up there late Wednesday night we just ate dinner and turned in for the night and waited for his parents to get there. They got in around midnight and went straight to bed (i don't blame them at all).

Thursday we just hung around the condo and played games, watched tv, took walks around the grounds and relaxed. The guys made dinner out on the BBQ and we had a wonderful dinner. That night the boys went and played raquetball. It was cute to hear the stories of the games and how Scotti did.

Friday we went our seperate ways as they went to see thier baby girl in logan and we went to drive around and see a friend that was in the hospital. It was sad to see her like that but as you get older the more unstable you get they say. After we saw Fosteen and told her we would be back before the weekend was out we drove around again. Since we skipped lunch we decided to grab a pizza before going back up into the canyon and settle in for the night. Well we didn't settle in. We went to play tennis ( more like chase the ball than tennis). We also walked around and just kinda gazed at the scenery.

Saturday was family day and we went to the Treehouse Musuem which was a lot of fun. They had books and activities for everyone to do and all ages could enjoy it. They had several different area from old west to castle to U.S. history. it was so much fun and Scotti just lit up when he saw the train area (of course). I took lots of pictures of Zuriah after she woke up and began to look around. After that we headed off to the Hill Areospace Musuem in Roy. This is Scotti's and mine old stomping grounds so we just seperated and went and looked at all the different things they had done to the place since our last visit. They added a childrens learning area which is where Scotti ran to and just was mesmerized with it. There was a lot going on so Zuriah was just so busy looking around. After that we went to lunch/dinner at Golden Corral and just rested. We were glad we went when we did cause it got busy just as we were leaving. All in all it was a fun day.

Sunday was get up pack get ready for church and leave day. Since we had to still pack up all of our stuff we only went to Sacrament meeting but it was fun. After church we went to a trailhead and had a picnic lunch before we hit the road to come home. After lunch we went back to the hospital to visit for awhile and catch up she she was more coherent that day. After saying the teary goodbyes we hit the road for the long trip home. We made it home with no trouble and were glad to be out of the car. We got home around 9pm got ready for bed and went to bed since both Scott and Scotti had to be up for work and school.

I had a wonderful time over the weekend and hope to do it again soon.
